Clay pot rice at Temple Street 庙街煲仔饭

One famous food at the Temple Street 庙街 (near the Yau Ma Tee 油麻地) is the clay pot rice 煲仔饭, if you walk around, the whole street, almost 90% of the restaurant will provide clay pot rice. One of them that claim to cook the rice using carbon 炭烤 is called Xin Ji 兴记. Look at this beef clay pot rice that cost you HKD 18 (for one meat, for two meats will be HKD 23).

Simple a plain rice. However, they do provide you two bottles of sauces, then you mix the sauces with your rice, hmmm.. then it tastes better.

Try once is good enough, there are other better food out there. Maybe you can order a clay pot, and some cooking dishes and share among you all, please don't order each of you a clay pot. And if you have tried the clay pot chicken rice 瓦煲鸡饭 in Malaysia and Singapore, this isn't much better.
