Hong Kong was having its 2nd No. 8 typhoon yesterday. This the street view of the famous Temple Street 庙街 at around 2pm, when the storm is getting weak. You can see the the rubbish is everywhere. As no one was do the cleaning on that day. The rubbish was also blowed by the strong wind. As you can see, most of the shops were closed in this afternoon, maybe only 7-11 was still opening.
We back to the same scene again at night. Tourists, visitors start to arrive, half of the shops were operating. And the street was cleaned!
More storm photos will be posted soon. Basically Hong Kongers react very fast, they can shut down all the business completely until 3 or 4pm, and start the business immediate at night when the weather get better.
