He and a pregnant lady suiside at her house with the father of the baby sleeping next door

男死者鄧彥龍（31 歲），人稱「阿龍」，女死者張惠芝（30歲），綽號「阿芝」。據悉，「阿芝」為失婚婦人，前夫姓陳，兩人育有1名3歲大兒子，半年前她偕兒子及姓劉男友「阿發」租住新健街6號1單位。早前「阿龍」受人委託向「阿芝」追討3個月欠租，由於雙方均疑染有不良嗜好，在同病相憐結為好友，「阿龍」經常到上址借宿。

疑懷有身孕的女死者張×芝(30歲)，與前任男友育有一子3歲，其現任男友32歲姓劉(人稱阿發)，張疑在死時已懷有阿發3個月的骨肉。阿龍前晚深夜回家後用鑊燒炭，備受金錢困擾的阿芝疑剛巧與男友鬧翻出房，知道阿龍想死，自己亦感懷身世，以死相陪。昨晨9時，在另一間房與阿芝之子同睡的阿發起床出廳嗅得炭燒味道，踢門入房才揭發女友與阿龍在房內燒炭俱亡，連忙報警。
